By Robert Middleton - Action Plan Marketing
I woke up Monday morning thinking of a book I'd read many years ago, "The Peter Prescription" by Lawrence J. Peter," plucked it off my library shelf and dipped into it again.
This book contains "Sixty four formulas for improving the quality of your life" and is a treasure trove of ideas for making things work better. And it's written in a very readable, fun style: An excerpt picked at random:
"One advantage of making lists is that it is cheaper than psychotherapy and you can pin your list on the wall and think about it. You cannot do this with your psychotherapist."
Peter wrote several books, the most notable being "The Peter Principle," published in 1968. All are highly readable and recommended. You can get them super-cheap on Amazon.
Peter spent the majority of his professional career writing books about how things go wrong and how to make things go right. Peter was a deep thinker who also understood that you have to make one's ideas easily digestible and applicable.
He was a big influence and inspiration.
As you may know, I've spent the majority of my career writing and talking about how most marketing doesn't work and how you can make it work for you.
So once again, I'm embarking on another project designed to help even more people get a grip on their marketing and hopefully avoid the kind of marketing mistakes that produce negligible and discouraging results.
Peter wrote books. But now we have multimedia and interactive web sites that can provide more than information, but also offer a way to absorb information in more depth, hopefully sticking a little longer.
So I thought, why not put every major marketing idea, strategy and plan together in one place, have it revolve around a set of proven marketing principles and then interconnect them all?
So that's what I've done. And I'm launching it next week.
The center of this is my "Fast Track to More Clients Program" presented online to be as interactive and as easy to use as possible. It includes marketing assignments, exercises and plans you can fill in online and save, a way to track your progress step-by-step and a community that can comment on each module of the program as you go through it.
Over 40 Expert Interviews are connected to the core principles so that you can go deeper into a particular subject, and twice-monthly Coaching Calls provide more in-depth insight and advice for implementing what you've learned. Dozens of Marketing Samples provide successful examples for you to emulate.
And then I've thrown in over $2,000 worth of Bonuses, including the InfoGuru Marketing Manual and the WebSite ToolKit.
On top of all that, I've priced it so low that anyone can take advantage of it. I'm hoping I didn't go too far in offering too much value, but my aim here is to help thousands of people with their marketing, not a select handful.
Look out for the launch next week. My developer and I have spent hundreds of hours on this over the past two months and I know you're going to like what you see.
We'll even have a free sample for you to download.
